Puppy Training Programs
Our puppy training packages are designed to build strong foundations during the most important developmental stage. From structured potty training to obedience basics and behavior guidance, we help set your puppy up for long-term success.
We offer hands-on coaching for first-time owners, as well as immersive potty training programs for young puppies between 3–6 months of age.
Adult Dog Training Programs
Our adult training programs focus on obedience, structure, and behavior modification. Whether your dog needs leash manners, off-leash reliability, or help with reactivity and aggression, we build clear communication and accountability.

Meet Tonya Schaeffer
Tonya has been training dogs professionally for 19 years. She began her career at Triple Crown Dog Academy, studying multiple training methodologies including clicker training, behavior modification, aggression cases, agility, competition obedience, therapy dog certification, and CGC evaluation.
After returning to Utah, she worked throughout the valley applying and refining her skills before establishing TLC Canine Coaching in 2007.
Tonya actively competes with her own dogs in competitive obedience, conformation, and French Ring protection sports. She regularly trains alongside experienced handlers and decoys, continuously expanding her knowledge and skill set.
